Noting that several items in the lineup hail from the likes of Italy, Ecuador, Spain and Greece, with others inspired by Asian, Indian, Greek, and Latin cuisines, ShopRite spokeswoman Karen Meleta said in a statement that the company’s buyers searched the globe to find “the very best ingredients and finest products."

“ShopRite Trading Co. products have exceptional flavors that reflect the extraordinary places where those foods are sourced,” said Meleta. “Customers will find premium, imported products, including arugula wood-fired crust pizza and specialty desserts like cranberry panettone and pandoro from Italy, marinated artichoke hearts from Peru, and extra-virgin olive oil from Greece.”
