Whole Foods Market wants to give customers a do-over if their weekend is a rainout this summer.

Starting June 21, the Austin, Texas-based retailer will offer a limited number of Rainy-Day Redo prize packages in its stores whenever weekend rain hits at least half of the continental U.S. Prize packages, available on a first-come, first-served basis, will feature items ranging from grilling and beach gear to 365 by Whole Foods Market-branded snacks and coupons for ice cream and fresh fruit.

Whole Foods is enlisting the help of Weather Channel meteorologist Stephanie Abrams for the promotion: Abrams will share a weekly weather call on Instagram every Monday at 12 p.m. EDT through Aug. 9. If it rained in at least half the country over the preceding weekend, Whole Foods will offer up the Rainy-Day Redo kits.

"With everyone ready to get outdoors and enjoy the summer with family and friends, Whole Foods Market is the destination for summer celebrations big and small," Whole Foods Chief Marketing Officer Sonya Gafsi Oblisk said in a news release.

And if the weather cooperates with outdoor weekend plans? No free prizes, but Whole Foods is promoting a selection of new products for summer, seasonal wine picks, fresh fruit recipes and ideas for meatless swaps for barbecue staples.
