Del Monte Fresh Produce, N.A., Inc. has been awarded the Superior Taste Award with the maximum three stars for its fresh Hass Avocado Pulp by the International Taste and Quality Institute (iTQi). Its delicious, nutty flavor, visual appeal and silky smooth texture all ranked above 90% on the sensory evaluation charts with a total weighted average of 91.6%, say company officials. Fresh avocado consumption continues to increase and as more consumers become familiar with its great taste and nutritional benefits.
