Guy Fieri Launches Sausage Line at Walmart

Golden West Food Group and celebrity chef and Food Network star Guy Fieri have teamed up to launch four unique flavors of fully cooked sausages. Available exclusively at Walmart stores, the flavors include Nacho Style Chicken Sausage, Fajita Seasoned Chicken Sausage, Tequila Lime Chicken Sausage and Italian Style Pork Sausage. Each sausage is fully cooked, naturally hickory smoked, and can be prepared on the grill, stove top or microwave. The flavors of the sausages take all of the bold, exciting recipes Guy has on his shows and in his cookbooks and deliver them exclusively to the Walmart customer in an innovative ways, say company officials. “It was so important for us to modify these flavors specifically to Guy Fieri’s standards,” says Tony Cimolino, CMO of Golden West Food Group. “We are very proud of the end result, and we are confident the Walmart shopper will be very pleased as well!” With four sausages per pack, these are perfect for a snack, dinner or the “big game.” Launching nationally this fall, find Guy Fieri’s Chicken and Pork Sausages in the refrigerated aisle of your Walmart store.
