Oneonta Starr Ranch Growers Welcomes Paul Newman

Oneonta Starr Ranch Growers located in Wenatchee, WA., announced today that industry veteran Paul Newman is joining the sales team as the Organic Category Manager. Newman, who has extensive history and experience in the fruit and agricultural marketplace, will oversee the sales of Columbia Valley Fruit, the latest addition to Oneonta. “We are very excited to have a person of Paul’s experience and expertise,” says Brian Focht, general manager. “He brings a wealth of knowledge, confidence and personality to our team. We are happy to have him on board.” Newman, born and raised in the Yakima Valley, has an experienced background in the agricultural industry. Besides more than 25 years of fruit sales experience, Paul is active in various industry organizations, most recently the USDA Fruit and Vegetable Advisory Committee, and Produce for Better Health. He is also an active supporter of the Washington Apple Education Foundation, and can be seen at many of their fundraising activities urging on the buyers to raise their paddles as a licensed and trained auctioneer.
