PLEASANTON, Calif. — Safeway has expanded its “Snack Artist” private-label snack line with the addition of frozen appetizers, Safeway announced on Facebook and Twitter.

Breaded mozzarella sticks, pizza bagels and taquitos are among the new items in the line.

Snack Artist debuted late last year as a salty snack line of potato chips, cheese curls and tortilla chips.

The retailer differentiates the line by giving unique names to all products. For instance, the mozzarella sticks are called ‘Mozart-Ella,” while the nacho cheese tortilla chips are called “Mariachicheese” chips.
