CO-CEO AND CO-FOUNDER CENTER FOR ADVANCING RETAIL & TECHNOLOGY (CART)
What’s the best part of your job?
The people. Innovation is a great space because it can involve entirely new and different possibilities. Working with, supporting and watching executives build a transformative future for their company is constantly inspiring.
What inspires your leadership approach?
It all comes down to culture. A company culture is what gives rise to technology adoption, innovation and even the ideas. Tomorrow has never been more uncertain with tech disruption looming, civil unrest, quickly changing regulation and, of course, the pandemic. But I’m inspired by building and growing a group of people that support each other, embrace the discomfort of inevitable change and put themselves on the line for growth to be ready for whatever is around that next corner.
What do you cherish most about being a part of the industry?
Grocery is such a special industry to me not just because I grew up in it but because it literally touches everyone as a customer. It became even more important early in the pandemic when once again the grocery store became the “town center" for many communities. When we make a difference for retail and brand clients in their growth, transformation and technology advancements, the positive ripple effect extends far beyond.
