Fresh & Easy Expands EatWell Line

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Fresh & Easy has added more than 20 new meals, soups and sides to its health-conscious EatWell line.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market has added more than 20 new meals, soups and sides to its health-conscious EatWell line.

Some of the new items include a kale bistro salad, Thai-style red curry shrimp and carrot and orange soup. Prices on these products range from $2.99 for soups to $5.99 for fresh fish steamers.

"This time of year everyone's focused on keeping resolutions and eating better, which is why we've just introduced more nutritious EatWell products," John Burry, Fresh & Easy's chief customer officer, said in a statement. "We're trying to make it easier and more affordable for our customers to keep their New Year's resolutions to eat healthier without compromising on taste or quality."

EatWell items contain no more than 25 percent of the total daily values for calories, fat, saturated fat and sodium, based on a 2,000-calorie diet.
