IDDBA Exec. Committee TAPS WOODS
PITTSBURGH — Giant Eagle's senior director of deli, Voni Woods, has been elected treasurer of Madison, Wis.-based International Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association, beginning her first term on the IDDBA executive committee. Once elected to the executive committee, Woods, as others do, will move up through the ranks, becoming vice president next year, then executive vice president and then president, an IDDBA spokesman said. Other retailers who have served as IDDBA president include Tom Brewer, Price Chopper, Schenectady, N.Y.; Ed Meyer, Schnuck Markets, St. Louis; and Mike Eardley, H.E. Butt, San Antonio. IDDBA's board of directors elected officers during the trade group's annual business meeting earlier this month.
