LA VERGNE, Tenn. -- Leslie Baker has been promoted to the position of vice president of sales, grocery and drug at Ingram Entertainment here, the video distributor said. She fills a position formerly held by Bill Bryant, who was promoted to vice president of sales in May of last year. She reports to Bryant. Baker was most recently assistant vice president of sales, grocery and drug, a post she has held since July 2000. Before that, she was director of grocery and drug. She joined Ingram in 1991. "Leslie is widely respected in the industry, and particularly well known within Ingram's grocery and drug retail base," Bryant said. "She listens closely to retail needs, and communicates with studios to develop mutually agreeable solutions to opportunities and challenges that face the supermarket class of trade."
