MINNEAPOLIS — Nash Finch is bringing its Avanza banner to a location in Omaha, Neb., late this year, the company said. Nash Finch operates two of the Hispanic-oriented Avanza stores in the Denver market, but closed locations in Chicago and in Pueblo, Colo., in 2004. Nash Finch said it would convert a Food Bonanza store in Omaha to the Avanza name at a cost of about $1 million, with plans to open the new store before the holidays.
