Coffee co-packaging company NuZee Inc. has partnered with Wakefern Food Corp., the nation’s largest retailer-owned cooperative, to release the coffee company’s first private-label single-serve products.

Wakefern said the coffee brew-bag items—Breakfast Blend, French Roast and Columbian—have been released under the ShopRite’s private-label brand Bowl & Basket.

Wakefern’s member companies own national grocers, including ShopRite, Price Rite Marketplace, Fresh Grocer, Dearborn Market, Gourmet Garage and Fairway Market. The new products will be available at roughly 250 of Wakefern’s ShopRite locations.

"Wakefern is excited to work with NuZee to bring sustainably packaged, quality products to its Own Brands line of Bowl & Basket single-serve coffees,” said Pam Ofri, Wakefern director of Product Development and Operations, Own Brands, in a statement. “We look forward to working with NuZee to expand and enhance packaging for our popular private label coffees."

Wakefern was founded in 1946 and now operates hundreds of locations in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
