Southeastern Grocers has teamed up with celebrity chef Curtis Stone to provide low-cost, easy meal ideas to shoppers at Bi-Lo, Harveys and Winn-Dixie.

Southeastern Grocers has teamed up with celebrity chef Curtis Stone to provide low-cost, easy meal ideas to shoppers at Bi-Lo, Harveys and Winn-Dixie.
The “Cooking with Curtis for under $10” program will feature four meals per month based on a single seasonal ingredient. Recipe cards will be available in all stores, the weekly circular and online.
The first two recipes are tomato and corn succotash with grilled chicken drumsticks and ultimate fried green tomato BLT.
“Southeastern Grocers and Chef Curtis share a common passion to help families eat well for less, with fresh, easy meals they can make from scratch at an affordable price,” Sharry Cramond, EVP of marketing and communications for Southeastern Grocers, Jacksonville, Fla., said in a press release.
“Chef Curtis’ philosophy and $10 meal ideas resonate with our customers who want to prepare easy, healthy meals that add variety to their family tables. We’ve partnered with Chef Curtis because fresh and affordable foods are important to our customers — and providing the best for our customers is our priority.”
According to Southeastern Grocers, 25% of shoppers in its stores are on some sort of food assistance and are looking for affordable fresh foods, while almost all customers want healthy meals for less money.
