Digestive wellness is a priority for many female consumers, with 83% of adults reporting some type of gastrointestinal problem, according to Mintel’s Digestive Health U.S. July 2017 study. Probiotics are live bacteria that add to the beneficial bacteria that are normally present in the gastrointestinal tract. Special K Nourish Berries & Peaches with Probiotics provides a source of this beneficial bacteria without the need for refrigeration, making it a healthy and convenient choice for time-strapped women.

"Our goal is to empower women to feel confident in their food choices," Christie Crouch, director of marketing for Special K, said in a statement. " With new Special K Nourish Peaches & Berries with Probiotics, we're delivering the good bacteria, along with iron and vitamins, to women who are looking to fuel their day."

Special K Nourish Berries & Peaches with Probiotics features peach-flavored flakes blended with pieces of blueberries, raspberries, peaches and yogurt bites, and offers 12 grams of whole grains and a good source of fiber.
