Honey Acres Fills National Sales Slot

ASHIPPUN, Wisc. -- Kathy Sedan has joined Honey Acres, a manufacturer of gourmet honey mustards, honey condiments and honey confection products, as national sales director.

In her new role, Sedan is responsible for all sales activities, product and packaging development, marketing and advertising.

Border Names VPs, Assistant Manager

DEMING, N.M. -- Border Foods here recently announced the appointment of Carl Becker, Larry Griffin and Randy Bruggink.

Becker, as vice president of sales, is responsible for the company's worldwide sales. He was national sales director.

As vice president of production, Griffin presides over facilities located in Deming, as well as Las Cruces, N.M. He has been with the company for six years.

Bruggink was named Deming assistant plant manager. He has been with Border since 1996, serving as production manager

Nabisco Names e-Business VP

PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Nabisco here has named Richard A. Brindle vice president of customer e-sales for its Global e-Business Unit.

In his new position, Brindle oversees all field sales activity in support and development of emerging technology-based sales channels, such as Internet retailers, and is responsible for developing and overseeing a new national sales organization devoted to this new retail class of trade.

Nabisco said its Global e-Business unit was formed in July, 1999, to provide it with a worldwide strategy, new business model and dedicated organization that will guide and enhance the company's future growth.

Red Wing Appoints NE Manager

FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Red Wing Co. here has appointed Brian J. Logan Northeast Zone regional business manager.

He is now based in Nashua, N.H., and is responsible for Red Wing's customers in the New England and metro New York markets. Logan was East Coast sales manager for LeClerc Foods, Quebec, since 1997 and prior to that was with Maple Leaf Pet Foods, also in Canada, where he was regional sales manger for 10 years. He reports to Chris O'Neill, the Northeast Zone manager.

Red Wing is one of the nation's largest manufacturers and marketers of private-label food products. With plants here and in Dunkirk, N.Y.; Streator, Ill.; San Jose and Colusa, Calif., Red Wing says it is the nation's largest producer of table syrup and the second-largest producer of jellies and preserves. Red Wing, founded in 1912, is also the nation's largest producer of store-brand peanut butter and is one of the nation's largest fruit processors.
