Tyson Foods, Inc. and Anheuser-Busch, Inc. are partnering up for a March basketball tournament promotion featured in thousands of retailers nationwide. From March 5 to April 13, 2012, consumers can save on Tyson Wings or Boneless Wings from the deli and Bud Light beer as a Great Double Team for tourney time basketball watch parties. The limited time promotion will include savings of $1 off 2-lbs. or more of Tyson Wings or Boneless Wings only, or where allowed by law, $2 off 2-lbs. of Tyson Wings or Boneless Wings and Bud Light beer purchased together. Bud Light will also co-promote Tyson Wings and Boneless Wings in the beer aisle with signage and coupons where possible. Tyson has developed standout merchandising materials including counter cards, posters, door clings and the appropriate coupon tear pad for each state. "Promotions such as this are a slam dunk for retailers," says Eric LeBlanc, senior director of Tyson Deli Marketing. "They can expect to see incremental sales and lift of up to 200% during the promotional window." In addition to the in-store activity, the promotion will be activated online. On DeliAnytime.com, members can download and print a handy bracket to track their teams through the tourney, and on DeliAnytime facebook page, users can play a fun free throw game for a chance to receive even more savings from their grocer's deli. logo in a gray background |
