United to Host International Expo

LUBBOCK, Texas — United Supermarkets’ Market Street banner will host an international food expo April 9-10 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“Sample a taste of the world throughout the aisles of Market Street,” United writes in promotional materials. Shoppers will sample a different international product in each department.

“Guests will encounter a new country with its own distinctive taste every time they travel across international lines into a different department,” according to United.

Along with handing out free samples, Market Street associates will provide cultural and nutritional information about the featured food items at each destination.
