MONTVALE, N.J. — A&P will revamp Live Better magazine with new interactive components. The publication will be linked to the retailer’s Facebook page, where readers can also post comments about it.

“Our plan is to make this an interactive publication,” A&P states in the inaugural 52-page issue, effective Dec. 31 through Jan. 27.

Launched late last year, Live Better is designed to help readers manage their health and lifestyle. It features food facts, exercise tips, recipes, coupons and more.

The relaunch comes at a time when A&P has become more involved with social media, creating Facebook pages for its A&P, Waldbaums, SuperFresh and Pathmark banners. The Facebook pages will offer exclusive offers, coupons and recipes.

“We promise to be way more interesting than that guy from high school,” A&P states in an ad on the back cover of Live Better.

The magazine can also be viewed on the websites of all A&P stores.
