GREENVILLE, S.C. — Bi-Lo here is again giving away free gas this week, March 23-25, through its fuelperks rewards program. However, shoppers have to hunt down the three participating fuel redemption sites

Clear Channel radio stations in the Upstate region reveal clues associated with each participating gas station's location. The retailer advises customers to an advance on the clues before they air on the radio at Bi-Lo's Facebook and Twitter pages beginning at 6:30 a.m. on days of the promotion. Radio clues commence the morning of each event at 7 a.m.

To participate in the gas giveaway, customers need to have their My Bi-Lo Bonuscard and be one of the first 100 people in line to receive a voucher for up to 20 gallons of free gas. The vouchers will be instantly redeemable at that day’s participating fuelperks! redemption site, and customers will have their tanks filled up with free gas on the spot.

For customers after the first 100 who are unable to receive a voucher for free gas, Bi-Lo continues to offer its fuelperks! program.

The promotion is designed to assist South Carolinians battling increasing gas prices, stated a Bi-Lo press release. This week retail gas prices in the state ranged from $3.18-$3.62 per gallon of regular and $3.38-$4.05 per gallon of premium.

Last year the retailer ran a one-day free gas promotion in Myrtle Beach to draw attention to the re-launch of fuelperks! in that area.
