Family Dollar Launches Recipe Contest

CHARLOTTE — Family Dollar Stores here has enlisted celebrity chef Melissa d’Arabian to help select a winner of its Dollar Dinner for the Holidays recipe contest.

The contest asks Family Dollar shoppers to share recipes using ingredients available at the discount chain, and will award the winner with a $500 gift card and a consultation with d’Arabian, a Food Network host focusing on entertaining on a budget.
