SALISBURY, N.C. — Food Lion's MVP Savings Centers have been so well received that the chain is rolling them out to additional locations.

Shoppers scan their MVP card at these kiosks to receive personalized coupons based on their household’s shopping history. The offers typically expire on the day they're received.

Kiosk coupons have up to five times the redemption rate of coupons delivered via traditional distribution channels, according to the retailer.

"We have seen a much higher coupon redemption rate among our MVP customers with the MVP Savings Center kiosks when compared to other traditional channels," said David Palmer, director of customer relationship management and interactive marketing, in a prepared statement.
