PITTSBURGH – Giant Eagle is in the midst of a month-long, Latin-food celebration.

Along with featuring deals on brands like Goya and La Preferida, the event will include in-store samplings Sept. 25 and 26 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Another sampling event was held Sept. 11 and 12.

Giant Eagle is also promoting Latin recipes like Chiles Rellenos with Salsa Verde Cream Sauce; Chipotle Pasta; Mexican Lasagna; and No Bake Dulce de Leche Cheesecake.

“Enjoy the flavor with these amazing recipes that are sure to pick up the tempo at your dinner table,” Giant Eagle writes in promotional materials.

Meanwhile, the retailer is featuring an enchilada dinner “meal deal” this week that feeds a family of four for $10. The deal includes specials on all ingredients needed to make the dish, including Old El Paso Flour Tortillas, $1.25; and Old El Paso Enchilada Sauce, $1.25, 10 ounces.
