PITTSBURGH - Just several months after launching an iPhone and iPad app, Giant Eagle has now introduced a Droid app.

Shoppers who download the app at market.android.com can use their Android smart phone to view weekly circulars, download digital coupons, check fuel discount balances and create shopping lists, among other tools.

The retailer reportedly is working on apps for additional smart phones.
