H-E-B Launches Holiday Layaway Program

SAN ANTONIO — H-E-B is in the holiday spirit, offering free layaway on toys, electronics and small appliances through Dec. 13.

The layaway option is available on all purchases totaling at least $50. Each item must be $15 or more.

Layaway shoppers need to put down 10% of purchase price or $10, whichever is greater.

There is no additional charge for customers who pay for their purchases in full by Dec. 13. However, there will be a $5 charge for customers who cancel their layaway plans or fail to pay in full by Dec. 13.
