NFRA Elects Nash Finch's Spinazze Board Chairman

The National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association elected Gary Spinazze, vice president of vendor relations at Nash Finch, as its chairman of the board last week.

HARRISBURG, Pa. — The National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association here elected Gary Spinazze, vice president of vendor relations at Nash Finch, as its chairman of the board last week. Spinazze has served on the board since 2002, when refrigerated foods were added to the scope of the association. He served as secretary from 2006-2007, and as chairman-elect from 2007-2008.

Other officers sworn in during NFRA’s 64th Annual Membership Meeting include Travis Hubbard, Harris Teeter, chairman-elect; Jeff Thomas, Michael Foods, secretary; Ray Tarnowski, Philadelphia Warehouse & Cold Storage, treasurer; John Larsen, Safeway, vice chairman refrigerated; and Bob Montgomery, Birds Eye Foods, vice chairman frozen. Newly elected to the board of directors were John Arnold, Sargento Foods Inc.; David Davis, Welch’s Foods; Kevin Jordan, Kraft Cheese & Dairy Division; Chris Kiser, Pinnacle Foods Group; John Kunkel, Nestlé USA; Scott O’Hara, Kellogg Co.; and David Welch, Winn-Dixie Stores. Elected for a second term on the board of directors were Bob Branham, General Mills; James Dorey, Wakefern Food Corp.; Scott Haws, Land O’Lakes Foods; Dan MacPhee, Masters Gallery Foods Inc.; and Jim Murphy, Dannon Co.
