MONTVALE, N.J. — Pathmark stores chainwide are offering to triple manufacturer’s coupons for three days beginning Friday, according to ad flyers.

The ad states that Pathmark, a division of A&P here, would triple all coupons up to and including $1, including those that state “do not double or triple,” with a limit of 10 manufacturers coupons per order, per day.

The move comes as other retailers around the country, including Kroger Co., stores in the Houston market, have curtailed triple coupon offers.

For the six-month period, Ingles said sales increased 3.1% to $1.74 billion. Net income of $15.4 million increased 32.8%.
