Sobeys, Esso to Share Rewards Points

STELLARTON, Nova Scotia — Sobeys here said Tuesday that it was beginning a points exchange agreement between its Club Sobeys/Club Thrifty Foods reward card and Imperial Oil’s Esso Extra rewards members.

STELLARTON, Nova Scotia — Sobeys here said Tuesday that it was beginning a points exchange agreement between its Club Sobeys/Club Thrifty Foods reward card and Imperial Oil’s Esso Extra rewards members.

The arrangement provides members of each program the ability to combine points to redeem for grocery or gasoline rewards. The points exchange option is available to members of both programs who reside where Sobeys operates stores.

Imperial operates 1,850 Esso-branded retail services stations across Canada.
