ST. LOUIS -- Anheuser-Busch here and Food Lion, Salisbury, N.C., have teamed up for a summer NASCAR promotion and sweepstakes that involve the entire Bud Family and Eagle Snacks line.

It is centered around the Anheuser-Busch sponsorship of Kenny Schrader, one of the most successful and popular drivers on the NASCAR auto racing circuit.

In-store, the promotion features stand-alone displays in Food Lion's 1,000 stores in the Southeastern states from May through Sept. 12 and uses three different sweepstakes during this period.

All three sweepstakes offer 36 winners trips to NASCAR races such as the Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis, the Atlanta 500 and the Daytona 500. Another 36 winners are offered trips to the Buck Baker NASCAR Driving School, in Rockingham, N.C.; Richmond, Va., or Atlanta. In addition to these prizes, the first 10,000 consumers to register for the first sweepstakes will receive a commemorative racing pin and letter from Ken Schrader, welcoming them to the Bud Weekend Pit Crew and alerting them about the second sweepstakes.

The first 10,000 to enter the second sweepstakes will receive a second pin and a letter telling them that they will be eligible to win a limited edition Bud Racing Hat by entering two of the three sweepstakes.
