Its Tide Ultra holds a commanding market share in the United States and in the greater New Orleans market, where Brand Marketing spot-checked prices. Schwegmann's, Delchamps and A&P priced Tide Ultra the highest of the three leading brands. P&G's Gain Ultra has the second leading share in New Orleans, but sixth nationally, while Lever's Surf Ultra is third both locally and across the country.
