BROILER COUNCIL IS OFFERING KIT FOR ANNUAL COMPETITION

WASHINGTON -- The National Broiler Council is offering retailers and manufacturers a promotional kit to help tie into its 41st annual National Chicken Cooking Contest.

in April. The first-prize winner will receive $25,000. Entries must be received by Oct. 15, 1994.

The kits contain merchandising materials and promotional ideas.

The National Broiler Council is also sponsoring the sixth annual National Chicken Month promotion this September. It is offering retailers a variety of ideas to merchandise and promote chicken during the month.

T-shirts, mobiles, badges and posters with the National Chicken Month logo as well as recipe pamphlets and tent cards for the food-service industry are available.
