BunzlMNAfter 17 years at 5301 N.W. Industrial Blvd. in Fridley, Minn., Bunzl Minneapolis has moved to a 155,000-square foot distribution center located at 10250 89th Ave. N. in Maple Grove, Minn. The newly-constructed facility is 55,000 square feet larger than the former location to accommodate a wider range of operating supplies for customers. The 55 employees of Bunzl Minneapolis serve customers in the grocery, retail, food processor, convenience store and airline industries throughout Minnesota, North and South Dakota, northern Iowa and western Wisconsin.

“We are excited to provide our customers and vendors with the highest level of service from our new, state-of-the-art distribution center,” says Bunzl Minneapolis General Manager Keith Schrage. “We designed our facility with twice as many dock doors to accommodate a higher volume of pick-ups and deliveries, and we have the option to expand as our business grows.” Bunzl Minneapolis is an integral part of the 5,400-employee Bunzl Distribution network with more than 100 locations spanning the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico. Bunzl Distribution is the largest division of London-based Bunzl plc, an international distribution and outsourcing group with operations in 27 countries and revenues of more than $10.1 billion in 2014. Bunzl Distribution uses its private fleet of trucks to deliver an extensive assortment of nonperishable goods not-for-resale, such as food packaging, cleaning supplies and safety solutions, as well as for resale items. Bunzl’s expertise in logistics and category management ensures that customers have the right mix of products when and where they need them. “We’d like to thank our customers for partnering with us to grow their businesses in the Minneapolis-St. Paul region and beyond,” says Schrage. “We are pleased to be able to scale our operations to meet their needs, and we look forward to developing new programs that will continue to drive their profitable growth.
