DeMet’s Candy Company, maker of America’s most beloved chocolate indulgences including TURTLES and FLIPZ, has introduced a new treat: TURTLES Peanut Caramel Nut Clusters. The new flavor will be available to consumers nationwide at food, mass, drug and convenience retail chains in fall 2015. This new caramel nut cluster variety was inspired by consumers love for peanut butter and America’s number one snack nut, the peanut. TURTLES Peanut is a perfect blend of lightly salted peanuts, creamy caramel and luscious milk chocolate topped with a delicious peanut drizzle. TURTLES Peanut joins a lineup of flavors including Original, Dark Almond, Cashew, Sea Salt Caramel and Hazelnut. The new products will be available at pricing in line with existing items of the same size, which includes a five-ounce minis standup pouch, a 4.7-ounce standup bag with individually wrapped pieces and a 2.9-ounce lay down box. Developed in Chicago, TURTLES maintain a commitment to quality ingredients that create the craveable confection enjoyed for more than 100 years. Developed by George DeMet, TURTLES still use fresh-roasted nuts, handcrafted caramel, and premium chocolate.
