CLIFTON, N.J. -- The New Jersey Packaging Executives Club has presented its 1993 Package of the Year award to Elizabeth Arden for its Sunflowers die-cut sleeve, reverse-tuck carton combination with precisely aligned reversed flower images. Rough-textured paperboard is printed in yellow and hot-stamped in copper by Arko Paper Products. The package also was the competition's gold award winner in the folding carton/set-up box category. Gold awards also were presented to Cultech for Shiseido's Suncare Treatment line, and Innovative Plastics for its Motorola Pager package. Cosmair took home three silver awards in the fragrances, cosmetics and toiletries-beauty aids categories for its Gloria Vanderbilt Holiday Jewel Case, L'Oreal Plenitude Skincare Products and L'Oreal Casting Hair Colorant, respectively. Other silver award winners included Innovative Folding Cartons for its "Get a Move on America" carton for Key Pharmaceutical, Nabisco for Fleischmann's Refrigerated Egg Beaters, Eluci for Preparation H Cleansing Tissues for Whitehall Labs, and Risdon Corp. for Mini Mist.
