Winn-Dixie Stores Taps Webb for VP

ie Stores here has named A.C. "Buddy" Webb vice president and director of services.

Webb, who has been the company's director of services since last July, will retain his current responsibilities, which include overseeing all aspects of warehousing, distribution and transportation.

He reports to Charles McKellar, executive vice president.

Webb joined the company in 1960 as part of its warehouse operation, and joined the corporate warehouse and transportation staff in 1980.

Edwards Appoints VP of MIS

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. -- Edwards Super Food Stores here has named Joe Giacometti vice president of management information systems.

Giacometti joins Edwards from Sara Lee Hosiery, where he was director of information systems. Prior to his tenure at Sara Lee, he accumulated 23 years' experience in MIS with Save-A-Stop, Jacksonville, Fla., and the Campbell Soup Co., Camden, N.J.

Giacometti reports to Ken Betuker, executive vice president, chief financial and administrative officer.

Edwards Food Stores, a division of Ahold USA, Parsippany, N.J., operates 59 Edwards and 11 Finast stores in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
