Rosner Takes Helm at Gemco

He will be in charge of overall operations, marketing and sales. Rosner was vice president of marketing for Ecko Housewares where he worked for the last two years.

Welch Is Appointed Partner at In-A-Box

SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- Herb Welch, who retired from professional football in 1992, has been voted to the position of senior vice president and partner, a new position, at In-A-Box here.

The company produces SPINs, which the manufacturer describes as combining the practicality of a gift box with the personal touch of a greeting card.

Welch, who has been an investor in the company, reports to other partners, Mark Seigfreid, chief executive officer, and Mark Marrone, chairman. Welch will continue to focus on corporate sponsorship and licensing for the company.

In his professional football career, Welch played five seasons for the New York Giants. He also played a season for the Washington Redskins and two for the Detroit Lions.
