Harvest Meat Taps Merchandiser

PHOENIX -- Bob Clark has been named director of marketing and merchandising for Harvest Meat Co. here, a new position.

Clark is responsible for serving as liaison between Harvest and its chain store and independent market customers in Arizona and southern California. He reports to J.J. Leavy, executive vice president.

During his 26-year career in the meat industry he has held the positions of director of meat and seafood for Big Bear Markets, San Diego, and senior vice president of meat merchandising for Vons Cos., Arcadia, Calif.

Tropicana International Names VP

BRADENTON, Fla. -- John Cornish has been named vice president of market and business development for Tropicana International here, a new position.

Cornish has primary responsibility for overseeing the development of international market expansion and business development initiatives.

Cornish was area commercial director for the Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand division of Seagram Beverage Co., New York, Tropicana's parent. Cornish reports to Donald Cusimano, president of Tropicana International.

Atlantic Salmon Appoints Manager

PORTLAND, Maine -- John "Jay" Burke has been named sales and marketing manager for Atlantic Salmon here.

He succeeds Johnny Askestad, who had been working with the company on a temporary assignment, and has returned to his native Norway. Burke was national sales manager at Cozy Harbor Seafood, South Portland, Maine. He reports to Frank Gjerset, president of Atlantic Salmon.
