Richfood Appoints Heise, McManus VPsas named Robert F. Heise vice president and chief information officer. The company also appointed Julie A. McManus vice president of productivity and logistics, a new position. Heise, who heads Richfood's management information services and electronic data processing departments, is responsible for developing policy, technological direction and project development.

Richfood Appoints Heise, McManus VPs

as named Robert F. Heise vice president and chief information officer. The company also appointed Julie A. McManus vice president of productivity and logistics, a new position. Heise, who heads Richfood's management information services and electronic data processing departments, is responsible for developing policy, technological direction and project development. Heise succeeds Jim Hall, who has resigned.

Heise reports to John Stokely, executive vice president for finance and administration.

McManus will be responsible for development of re-engineering projects in distribution and warehousing as well as employee and supervisory training.

Richfood also named Barbara A. O'Doherty quality control manager, a new position. Both McManus and O'Doherty will report to Edgar P. Poole, executive vice president and chief operating officer.
