Rocheleau Joins Vons as VP

S. Rocheleau has joined Vons Cos. here as vice president of general merchandise.

Rocheleau was executive vice president of merchandising and marketing for Thrifty PayLess Drug Stores. At Vons, Rocheleau is responsible for the sales and merchandising of general merchandise and health and beauty care and will oversee the pharmacy division.

Rocheleau succeeds Bob Smith, who is now vice president of the meat division at Vons. The company operates 335 stores under the names Vons, Pavilions and Expo.

Ambassador Appoints VP of Development

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Ambassador Cards, a division of Hallmark Cards, has named Doranne Hudson division vice president of product development.

Hudson joined Hallmark in 1988 as director of new business strategy and was most recently general manager of Hallmark Everyday Specialty. In her new position, she is responsible for directing the Ambassador Product Development organization, including everyday and season cards, specialty products and product creation services.

Hudson succeeds Mark Schwab, who was named Hallmark vice president of emerging brands and channels.

Panasonic Industrial Taps Unit Marketer

SECAUCUS, N.J. -- Todd Schrader has joined the battery sales group of Panasonic Industrial here as marketing manager.

He was most recently employed at Matsushita Services Co., where he served as national sales and marketing manager. Schrader is now in charge of domestic marketing efforts for Panasonic alkaline, heavy-duty and general-purpose, high-performance, no-mercury-added cells and other products. He succeeds Dan Halaburda, who left the company.

Bic Taps Development Director

MILFORD, Conn. -- Bic Corp. here has appointed Gary Prushansky to the new post of director of business development. Prushansky, a 16-year veteran of Bic, was marketing manager.

RPG Appoints a Senior VP

CHICAGO -- Recycled Paper Greetings here has appointed Carl Marquart senior vice president of sales for chains, a new post.

With RPG since 1983, Marquart most recently was a vice president covering Target Stores, Minneapolis. In his new position, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales to the chain arena, which RPG said is its fastest-growing segment.

In another move, Tim Kellond was named vice president of service, a new post. Kellond is responsible for overseeing all aspects of service to independent and chain accounts. More than 400 service representatives nationwide report to Kellond. Kellond has been with RPG since 1976 and was most recently divisional vice president at the company.

Fuji Photo Names Two Managers

ELMSFORD, N.Y. -- Fuji Photo Film here appointed Bill Homer Northeast regional manager for the consumer markets division.

Homer now has responsibilities formerly handled by Art Malen, who has been appointed consumer magnetics sales manager for national accounts, a new position. Previously, Homer held several positions at Fuji, including trade relations and special accounts manager.

Fuji also named Roberta Markum Los Angeles district manager for the consumer markets division.
