Four Managers Named by PET

here has announced several personnel changes.

Paul Gillstrom, formerly senior product manager for Downeyflake waffles, has been named marketing manager for Pet-Ritz pie crusts and dessert products, a new position. He reports to Charles F. Martin 3rd, group vice president of frozens.

Edward Wilson has been named product manager of special channels, an enhanced position. Wilson, formerly an associate product manager, reports to Chris Rector, director of marketing, special channels and military.

Richard Berry has been named to the previously vacant position of marketing manager of Old El Paso products. He was marketing manager of Van de Kamp's frozen seafood. He reports to Robert Black, group vice president of Mexican foods.

Renee Sloan has been appointed senior product manager of Van de Kamp's frozen seafood. She was product manager. She continues to report to Tom Allenwood, vice president and general manager of Van de Kamp's.

Stokely USA Appoints Marketer

OCONOMOWOC, Wis. -- Julie O'Malley has joined Stokely USA here as director of marketing and business development.

She succeeds Stephen Ott, who was named marketing and special markets manager.

In addition to being responsible for traditional product management of the Stokely brand, O'Malley is responsible for developing initiatives that support the company's plan to increase its private-label business. She reports to Ken Murray, vice president of canned sales and marketing.

Prior to joining Stokely, O'Malley was product manager of Healthy Choice cheese at Beatrice Foods, where she directed the roll-out of the brand's national campaign. She also served as product manager for private-label cheeses.
