Genuardi Appoints Director of MIS

per Markets here has named Maria Fidelibus director of management information systems.

Fidelibus was systems implementation manager. She succeeds Mike Venazio, who left the company. She is responsible for strategic development and implementing corporate and store-level technology initiatives. She reports to Hank Mullany, vice president of finance.

Delchamps Taps Distribution VP

MOBILE, Ala. -- William D. Kruse has been appointed vice president of distribution at Delchamps here, succeeding Donald Mathews, who is retiring after 20 years in that position.

Kruse, who joined the chain 34 years ago, was vice president of retail operations. No successor to his former post has been appointed, according to a company spokesman.

Cromer Is Named To New D&W Post

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- John Cromer has been named senior director of information technology, a new position, at D&W Food Centers here.

In his new role, Cromer is responsible for technology planning and implementation of voice and data communication, office automation and both corporate and retail systems.

Cromer, who had been director of management information systems at D&W, joined the company in 1992.
