WINN-DIXIE TAPS SPOONER AS DIRECTOR, OPS

SAFEWAY NAMES HASKER SR. VP, MARKETING

PLEASANTON, Calif. -- Safeway here last week said it named Rojon Hasker senior vice president, marketing and merchandising. She most recently was president of the company's Phoenix division. In her new post, she will be responsible for category management, procurement, pricing and promotions. The company said it was searching for an executive vice president to oversee marketing, merchandising, brand management and manufacturing. Last month Safeway said Rick Dreiling, executive vice president, marketing manufacturing and distribution, had resigned.
