Daymon Worldwide has launched the world’s first Private Brand mobile app, available for iPhone, iPad and Android platforms. The app was unveiled in Amsterdam at PLMA’s World of Private Label trade show, the annual international conference of the Private Label Manufacturers Association. Labeled iDaymon, the new mobile app features access to Private Brand resources and consumer insights, plus industry news and events. “Resources” include a store walk assistant, Private Brand opportunity calculator, and information on Private Brand penetration in multiple countries. The “Insights” screen links to information on industry trends, the latest social media buzz, and private brand launches. iDaymon’s “News and Events” content links to a wealth of current retail and private brand industry news, plus finger tip access to a global calendar of industry events such as trade shows and conferences. “Private Brands will continue to be a source of growth for retailers around the world, and with that growth comes the need for more and better information,” said Andres Siefken, Chief Marketing Officer, Daymon Worldwide. “Large national and international brands usually have access to a wealth of research and insights, and our goal is to make sure that Private Brands have the same advantage that comes from real-time access to information.”
