Diversified Communications, producers of more than 100 trade shows and conferences throughout the world, has announced the launch of the Trade & Trends Food Show. The event will be held October 26 & 27, 2015. The Trade & Trends Food Show will serve as one of the region’s premier business and educational platform for the retail and food service industries. Independent grocer, supermarket, restaurant and food service buyers, and other food-related professionals will gather for innovative educational sessions, explore products on the exhibit floor, and network through a series of special events. The event will be hosted at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ, just 15 minutes from New York City. Buyers attending the event will be able to source an array of products including: artisanal specialty foods, meat and poultry, vegetables and other produce, prepared foods, dairy, baked goods, craft beer, wine, liquor, payment solutions, equipment, and several other products and services. “We’ve launched Trade & Trends to fill a clear void in the market,” says Christine Salmon, Event Manager, “The education program will be comprehensive and will feature over 20 sessions. The location gives exhibitors prime access to New York City’s and New Jersey’s booming food service and retail sectors.” Trade & Trends is currently accepting proposals for speakers and chef demonstrations. Those interested in presenting are encouraged to submit their proposal at www.ttfoodshow.com.  Attendee registration will open in the coming months. Show management has begun contracting space for companies offering a range of products—food, beverage, equipment, technology, services—to create a one-stop solution for buyers from retail and food service establishments.
