JENKINS RECEIVES RABB AWARD

ORLANDO, Fla. -- David B. Jenkins, retired chairman, president and chief executive officer of Shaw's Supermarkets, East Bridgewater, Mass., has received the 1995 Sidney R. Rabb Award from the Food Marketing Institute. The award, presented during FMI's midwinter executive conference here, recognizes Jenkins' commitment to the grocery industry and his community. The Rabb Award was instituted in 1977

ORLANDO, Fla. -- David B. Jenkins, retired chairman, president and chief executive officer of Shaw's Supermarkets, East Bridgewater, Mass., has received the 1995 Sidney R. Rabb Award from the Food Marketing Institute. The award, presented during FMI's midwinter executive conference here, recognizes Jenkins' commitment to the grocery industry and his community. The Rabb Award was instituted in 1977 to honor Rabb, who was chairman of Stop & Shop, Boston, and the first chairman of FMI's predecessor association, Super Market Institute, in 1947.
