Loblaw Companies Limited has selected the Audit & Inspection, Corrective Action and Dashboards & Reporting modules of the KMI EHS Software Suite to help manage health and safety initiatives at the company's nationwide network of corporate retail stores and distribution centres.

Jattinder Dhillon, vice-president, Health, Safety, and Wellness for Loblaw, felt KMI's strong product offering and experienced project and implementation team would best enable Loblaw to achieve their health and safety aspirations. Among the key features that attracted Loblaw to KMI were the system's usability, flexibility, and functionality.

Loblaw's "Path Towards Zero Accidents" is a plan to reduce workplace accidents, illnesses, workers' compensation, and overall operational costs. The company's strategy involves increasing stakeholder involvement and implementing a robust, proactive system to achieve health and safety targets. Matt Airhart, Director of Business Development for KMI said, "Loblaw is extremely dedicated to proactive management of safety and sustainability so we were honored to have them select our system to help them achieve their goals."

In addition to using the KMI EHS Software Suite to manage their comprehensive internal health, safety, and wellness audits, Loblaw also leverages the system to manage regulatory visits conducted by provincial agencies. Having a single corporate-wide, web-based system in place which supports all aspects of the auditing process ensures consistent compliance with internal policies as well as external regulatory requirements while saving time at both the corporate and store level.
