Mann Packing has contributed a holiday donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Monterey County for its Adopt-A-Family program. The company partnered with the BGCMC to serve 1,100 youth and family members a Thanksgiving meal at the Clubs’ five locations. Additionally, 100 families will receive a special food box for the holiday school break.

“We are excited to support our county's youth during this holiday campaign," says Gina Nucci, director of corporate marketing at Mann’s and BGCMC member of the board. "Here at Mann’s, we’re always interested in opportunities to empower youth to thrive in school and lead healthy, productive lives. We’ve long been an advocate for youth development in Monterey County, and are proud of our partnership with the Club.”

The holiday contribution comes after a $10,000 donation from the company during the BGCMC’s Great Futures Telethon and is in addition to its annual $15,000 pledge that this year went to the Club’s Healthy Lifestyles initiative.

Mann’s also sponsored families within the BGCMC’s Adopt-A-Family program to provide support and help families create joyful experiences during the holidays for their children. Donations for this program can be made on the BGCMC’s website.

"We value and depend on the support of corporate partners like Mann Packing," says Michael L. Jackson, Ed.D., president and CEO of BCGMC. "Together we are making a positive difference in the lives of children, their families, and our community.”
