Supported by $1.5 million in print advertising, Femizol-7 is available in a 1.5-ounce tube with an optional applicator included. It has a suggested retail price of $9.99.
Jergens Is Shipping Body Shampoo
CINCINNATI, Ohio - Andrew Jergens Co., a subsidiary of Kao Corp. of America, has begun shipping Jergens Refreshing Body Shampoo.
The body shampoo is intended to replace bar soap for daily use in the shower or bath. It includes a nonsoap liquid and a unique sponge. Suggested retail prices are $2.89 for a 3-ounce starter kit and $3.29 for 8 ounces of the product.
Beginning in March, Jergens will support its body shampoo with a $50 million marketing plan. The plan includes television and print ads and home sampling to more than 10 million households.
