First Issue of Kids First! Is Set

of the Kids First! Directory will be unveiled at this year's annual Video Software Dealers Association convention here July 24 to 27. The directory, published by the Coalition for Quality Children's Video, includes a listing of the best titles in children's home videos. Each of the more than 270 titles listed has been endorsed by a national screening jury of more than 100 adults and 2,000 children. The directory is free with a Coalition membership. In addition to receiving the directory, members receive the Kids First! newsletter and signs for their stores.

Kids First! is a national nonprofit organization founded in 1991 to handle quality and quantity issues associated with children's videos.

'Our Gang' to Be Unveiled July 27

SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- MGM/ UA Home Video will release three videos on July 27, each containing four "Our Gang" episodes. Pre-order was July 7. All three are priced at $9.95.

MGM will provide 12-piece merchandisers, featuring four units of each title. Street date is July 24.
