RENTRAK TAPS LIGHTBOURNE FOR VP POST

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Michael Lightbourne has been named to the new position of executive vice president of Rentrak Corp. here. He reports to Rentrak Chairman Ron Berger.

In his new post, Lightbourne, who joined Rentrak in 1983, is responsible for all retailer liaisons, including support functions and communications.

"Michael Lightbourne's unparalleled relationships with video retailers all over North America, and the extremely high regard in which he is held by everyone in the home video industry, is a major asset to Rentrak and to the continuing growth of revenue sharing as an increasingly important method of distribution," said Berger.
