PLEASANTON, Calif. — Safeway's Bright Green cleaners have qualified for the Environmental Protection Agency's Design for the Environment (DfE) Label, used to highlight cleaners and detergents that meet stringent criteria for human and environmental health.
Products bearing the label have undergone a DfE scientific review including ingredient screening for potential human health and environmental effects. Only products containing ingredients posing the least concern among chemicals in their class are deemed worthy.
